Peanut, a young dog in the Bunao area, was in danger on the streets with a weak immune system and a positive test for distemper. Fortunately, a group of animal lovers and rescuers rallied together to rescue Peanut and provide the care she needed.

Mike Kona, a foster dad, offered to take Peanut in and provide her with a safe and loving home. Peanut sat in Mike’s lap for an hour, craving love and care, and thanks to the generous donations from supporters, she received the necessary medical care and was given a clean bed and a full belly.

Within days, Peanut’s appetite improved, and she started to thrive under the care of Mike and Joy. Her hair began to grow back, and she gained weight, becoming a bundle of love and affection.

In just two months, Peanut transformed from a scared and lonely dog wandering the streets to a happy and relaxed companion in a new family. With the help of supporters who shared and donated to her cause, Peanut found her forever home with Billy.
